For some time, I did not realise that my period of psychedelic, erotic expression was over. I was searching for new expressions in technique, but what I was really looking for was a counterpart to my inner silence and relaxation.
In 2017, I painted Mermaid, and suddenly everything became clear: I wanted to follow the path of simplicity. My psychedelic period had ended, and a new time of simplicity had begun.
